It feels so weird to no longer be a teenager...especially since I never did the stuff that teenagers do in country/rock songs. You know, the whole, "Strawberry wine, seventeen..." "Saw him standing there by the record machine, knew he musta been bout seventeen." "They're heading up to vegas tonight, how could eighteen years just up and walk away?" kinda stuff.

Honestly its almost a relief. Up until my birthday I was getting all stressed out about not being a teenager anymore, but now that its passed I'm kinda like, meh.

It's almost liberating to be a geeky "adult" rather than a geeky teenager. When I was a geeky teenager it smacked of trying to hold onto my childhood. Now I've simply joined the masses of people who make the average age of comic book buyers 23. I'm young for that bracket! YAY!

Had a kind of quiet, but very fun, birthday. I hung out with a couple friends and ate Hulk Popsicles. My family will celebrate later. Some of my CiD friends drew me some delicious birthday art! And Hound got me a tiny Seaspray Minibot figure...my first vintage toy! YAY! He lives in my bra now...
